Our growing Insurance Brokerage is seeking an Administrative Officer/Executive Assistant in our Lindsay location.

What you would be responsible for:
 
  • Welcoming guests and customers in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries on a multiple line phone system across multiple locations
  • Run and maintain daily system reports
  • Prepare and distribute mail, courier packages and faxes
  • Maintain company and executive appointment schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, conference, teleconference, events and travel
  • Maintain office supplies/inventory; placing and expediting orders
    Scanning, attaching and processing insurance documents
    Receive and apply customer payments
    Generate and submit daily deposit
    Update and maintain internal phone system



What you bring to SMI:

  • Minimum 1 year administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
